HighLevel for agencies

The part that matters is the sub-account: one client, one workspace, inside a single agency subscription.

Back to the homepage

HighLevel is aimed at agencies that would otherwise keep a separate CRM, funnel tool, and email tool for each client. You pay for one agency plan. Each client lives in a sub-account under that plan. Dollar amounts below are from the public pricing page on October 4, 2026, and can change.

What a sub-account is

A sub-account is the separate account HighLevel gives you for one business. The agency owns the subscription. The client’s contacts, pipelines, funnels, calendars, and conversations sit in that sub-account, not mixed with the next client.

HighLevel’s pricing FAQ says the difference between Starter and Unlimited is the number of sub-accounts. Starter includes 3. Unlimited and Pro include unlimited sub-accounts. The same FAQ says contacts and users are unlimited on all three of those plans. “Unlimited” does not mean unlimited phone, SMS, email, or AI usage. Those are usage-priced.

The FAQ also says you can connect your own domains for funnels and websites, and white-label the desktop app so a client login shows your branding instead of HighLevel’s. The white-label mobile app is not the same thing. On the pricing page it is a $497/month add-on, except on the custom Enterprise plan, where the page says it is included.

HighLevel’s FAQ mentions a snapshot library: pre-built account setups for industries such as real estate, dentists, and gyms. A snapshot is a starting layout you can put into a sub-account. It is not a finished client campaign, and it still has to be edited for that client.

Which plan an agency actually needs

Use the pricing page for the full list. The short version:

Plan Price named on the pricing page Sub-accounts Agency-specific extras
Agency Starter $97/month, or $970/year 3 Unlimited contacts and users. No rebilling and no SaaS mode.
Agency Unlimited $297/month, or $2,970/year Unlimited Rebill phone and email with no markup. Basic API access.
Pro $497/month, or $4,970/year Unlimited SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation, rebill phone and email with a markup, advanced API access.

Rebilling means HighLevel’s usage charges for phone and email can be passed to the client. On Unlimited that is at cost. On Pro you can add a markup. HighLevel’s FAQ describes SaaS mode as selling access from your own site and creating the client account automatically. Those are features of the software. They are not a promise that clients will pay you, and this page does not promise income.

You can move from Starter to Unlimited or Pro later. The FAQ says a mid-month upgrade costs the prorated difference. A 14-day trial is offered on these plans. Billing starts when it ends unless you cancel, and usage fees can apply during the trial.

Recommendation

Try HighLevel if you want an all-in-one agency platform — CRM, funnels, and email — with each client in a sub-account. Choose Starter when three clients is the real number. Choose Unlimited when the fourth client is the point, or when you need to rebill usage at cost. Do not buy Pro just to get more sub-accounts. Unlimited already has no sub-account cap. Pro is the plan for SaaS mode.
